Behind our products sits a team of over 450 travel technology professionals, spread between our headquarters in London, England and our development, support and outsourcing centre in Goa, India. Our diverse team is constantly growing, and is currently comprised of over 130 developers, 19 business analysts and a team of 30 people working in project management and implementation.

Kevin has over 25 years of experience within the travel technology industry and has been responsible for the design and implementation of a number of successful travel projects. Kevin is the founder and Managing Director of Open Destinations and is the architect of the tour operator solutions being offered today. Prior to founding Open Destinations, Kevin was the Managing Director of Tourplan and E-commerce consultant for First Call Tickets. He spent five years as Group IT Manager in Tourism International, a large multi-site/multi-sector tour operator and hotel group. Kevin started his career in travel as a writer with the Rough Guides.

Dev is responsible for the legal and commercial aspects of Open Destinations, most recently developing the strategy for our out sourcing services we offer. Dev has worked in a number of consultancy firms over the last 10 years, including a recent stint as Senior Strategy Consultant at Itim Group working on projects for companies such as British Standards Institute, B&Q and Argos.

Senior Vice President – Products & Professional Services

Philip has 20 years of information systems management experience within the travel and leisure sector. Most recently he was CIO for the Abercrombie & Kent group of companies and responsible for a global network of inbound and outbound travel companies. His experience covers implementation of operational, marketing and BI systems in environments ranging from large customer contact centres to remote operational offices and African lodges.


Brian Mebourne

Senior Vice President – Technology

Brian has 25 years of experience working in IT within the travel and financial services industries. Brian has broad experience spanning Microsoft and Open Source technologies. His last role was part of the senior IT management team at Gulliver’s Travel Associates where he ran the internal development teams, leading and contributing to business-critical programmes, projects and processes.


Beheram Cooper

Senior Vice President – India Operations

Beheram is our operations director for the development and outsourcing centre in Goa. He brings over 22 years of experience in the IT sector, in project development for the shipping, retail, sales and travel related industries. He has worked on offshore projects including spending over two years in the Gulf developing and implementing a software application for a shipping line.
