Implementation Consultant - London or Goa

Business Analyst - London

Open Destinations is currently recruiting for a business analyst role to be based in the company headquaters in London.

The main focus of this role is to analyse, document and propose solutions for our clients. As a Business Analyst you will be working closely with our clients, gathering and defining business requirements and translating these requirements into solutions.

We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter, who will act as the interface between the client and our high performing teams. As this is a client facing role, we need someone who is well spoken communicator, willing to travel to our client sites around the world. The role enquiries strong technical understanding and interest into travel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Collecting, understanding, and transmitting the business requirements for the project, and translating these into functional specifications and detailed test plans.

Analyse and document business processes.

Document workflows and results of business analysis and obtain sign-off from client on the specifications.

To provide the link between the customer, development team and any third party regarding software functionality, throughout the development lifecycle.

Day to day management of change requests in relation to the project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are met.

Weekly reports to be produced for the project manager showing progress against outstanding milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies.

Ensuring key deliveries are met on time and as required.

Working on client sites to build strong relationships

Desired Skills and Experience:

Demonstrable evidence of analysing and documenting complex business processes.

Demonstrable experience writing requirements specifications for information systems.

A proven track record in Software Development environment.

End to end experience of the project lifecycle.

Proven experience interacting directly with end users.

Results orientated with good communication and interpersonal skills.

Educated to degree level.

Knowledge of the Travel Industry would be an added advantage.

At least 3+ years of relevant experience.
