| Flexibility and configurability |
Travel Studio is designed to be implemented in different business environments and can be configured to mirror your existing business processes. Setting up your own search trees, product attributes and pricing structures enables you to mould the system to your organisation. |
| |
|
| Rules Engine |
Travel Studio allows you to build a series of rules governing the use of your product. You create these rules. For example "Minimum two nights stays at this Hotel" or "Closed on Mondays". The rules are then automatically applied or advised at the time of booking. They enable you to create pricing supplement and special offer rules which are so necessary in today’s marketplace (e.g. Stay 4 nights and get 1 night free). A sophisticated rules engine is essential for communicating your products successfully to your clients over the web. |
| |
|
| Dynamic Packaging |
Travel Studio allows you to present products to you customers in a way that suits your business. We support component based pricing, package tours and a mixture of the two. You can incorporate air with your tours or allow your customers to match their air requirements from both charter and scheduled flights. |
| |
|
| Allocations Engine |
Travel Studio contains a sophisticated allocations engine. You can manage your allocations by sub-allocating to clients, packages, internet channels and enter either release periods or Freesell. With the basic allocations set the user can now amend the allocations for specific days of the year, entering block-out dates if required. As Travel Studio is Internet enabled it also supports allocation specifically for Internet usage - allowing you to control the allocations you make available to your Internet clients. Having established your allocation you can now set bookings to automatically select the appropriate allocation based on the booking status and the clients properties. |
| |
|
| Workflow Task Manager |
The Task Manager enables you to set up a workflow for each of your booking types so you can allow a standard set of processes to take place based on specific criteria (e.g. 60 days before travel date send the final documentation or check whether the customers have the required Visas …)
The tasks are integrated with MS-Office and will automatically generate emails and documents as directed.
By using the Task Manager cancellation fees are avoided, deposit payments are followed up and the booking can be passed to other departments without loss of control or responsibility. They are designed to replace the myriad of manual processes which companies set up to make up for short-comings in their systems.

| |
|
| Extensive Notes support |
Product notes can be used to maintain a history of your relationship with suppliers and clients as well as warning users if there are problems. For example, if there are problems with a certain client, a pop-up note can be written and all users are immediately warned of the problem the moment they create or amend a booking for this client. Travel Studio will also automatically generate history notes whenever a major change occurs, for example, changing selling rates in a booking, changing a client or supplier address, deleting services from a booking. |
| |
|
| Document Creation |
The Travel Studio Messaging system uses MS Word to design and send messages to your clients and suppliers. It gives the user a simple, easy to use interface for both building templates and sending messages. Message templates are created by selecting the required information into a Word document, applying the appropriate formatting and saving. From within a booking or a Quote the User can now select this template and view or amend the completed message before sending via fax, email or printer. Messages can be linked to specific Suppliers and clients or linked to groups of clients/suppliers using specific languages. Once created the messages are stored within Travel Studio in view only mode so that your staff can see any documentation issued. |
| |
|
| Pricing Structures |
Travel Studio allows you to apply multiple buying rates against a single supplier for different days of the week and different times of the year, in multiple currencies, if required. Charging policies allow you to set controls such as maximum capacities, mileage rates and special offers, for example, 4 nights for the price of 3, whilst pricing flags indicate special offers. With the buying rates in place you can now build your selling models and apply these either individually or en masse. Each buying rate can have multiple selling rates, which in turn can be associated with specific clients or markets. Within a booking the system will automatically select the appropriate selling rate associated with a client. The rate used will be date-dependent and using the exchange rates agreed for this currency.
In short we have a sophisticated pricing engine that should empower you to maximise your yields from your different distribution channels. |
| |
|
| Automatic Messaging |
One impressive feature of Travel Studio is the automatic messaging functions which allow to you set up rules that govern which type of documents should be sent when specific events (e.g. new hotel booking, Tour cancellation) occur. |
| |
|

All the documents can be faxed or emailed direct to the recipient directly from your desktop. |

|
| Margin Reporting |
A key indicator in any reservations department is the margin being made on bookings made in the system. Travel Studio offers a variety of tools to allow you to track the margins you expect to make against the actual margins being achieved. The standard system reports allow profitability comparisons that allow you to quickly identify where problems are occurring. |
| |
|
| Management Information and reports |
