Designed for easy implementation into different business environments, Travel Builder can be configured to mirror your existing business processes. Setting up your own ‘information trees’, product attributes and pricing structures, enables you to mould the system to your organization.
Pricing structures
Buying and selling rates for each product that you contract can be loaded. The system is multi-currency enabling you to enter rates in the appropriate currency. You can manage currency exchange rate tables to set rates for a defined period.
Allocations Engine
Travel Builder’s booking engine will handle both free-sale and contracted allocation blocks. It also manages extras such as additional meals or extra beds. Allocations can be easily amended and ‘stop-sells’ entered as necessary for specific dates. New and amended allocations will immediately become available for sale in the system.
CRM
Vital to all sales operations is the capture, maintenance and use of customer data. Travel Builder includes a comprehensive CRM facility for both consumer and travel trade clients. Each passenger on a booking has their own unique record allowing you to store personal and contact details, booking history, personal preferences, source codes and passport & visa details.
Reports
A range of reports are available across the system to report on sales, operational or financial information. To enable you to closely monitor and manage your margins, reports are available at individual booking level and on sales by booking date range. All reports in the system can exported to both Excel and PDF formats for further analysis, printing or formatting.
Documentation
Both client and supplier documentation can be configured in the system as part of the initial process. A library of templates exists that can be customized with logos, fonts and styles. These documents are then generated dynamically from bookings made in the system and can be edited or emailed directly to suppliers or clients.
Payments
All the different payment types supported by your business can be defined in Travel Builder including credit cards, debit cards, vouchers, credit accounts etc. Open Destinations has extensive experience of working with a number of different credit card authorization companies and can discuss any real time requirements as part of the implementation process.
Extensive Notes Support
Travel Builder provides you with the ability to write your own notes and attach them to products, customers or reservations. This allows all information relevant to your business to be stored in the system and then accessed by anyone from any location rather than relying on paper or network based storage. Important information related to a client, supplier or reservation will always be available at the right time.
Online Bookings & Enquiries
Travel Builder has a low cost booking engine, making it easy to build your business online. Open Destinations has Integrated an open source content management system (CMS) which easily configures to personalise your web site and add free content such as blogs and event information.
