Our Company  Open Destinations was founded in 1998 with the objective of creating leading edge solutions for the Travel Industry. Utilising over 25 years of IT and Travel Industry experience the company's first product is Travel Studio, a Windows-based product for Tour Operators and Destination Management Companies providing the most complex booking environments that mix FIT, Package, Escorted Tours and Group reservations.
In early 1999 Open Destinations secured a round of venture capital funding to accelerate and expand the development of its core product Travel Studio. Open Destinations now have over 70 Installations of Travel Studio in 27 Countries around the world with over 3,000 people now logging into the system every day. More about our customers...
During 2003 the management team at Open Destinations led by Kevin O’Sullivan and Dev Pinto arranged a successful Management Buyout from the ITIM consulting group, and Open Destinations become fully independent.
In 2006 Open Destinations launched a new product called Fare Studio to manage Negotiated, Published and Charter airline contracts with interfaces into the GDS’s and Low Cost airlines.
Open Destinations now has its eye fixed firmly on the future. Our own dedicated development and outsourcing centre in Goa (India) provides a range of development and outsourcing services to our rapidly growing client base. At our offices in the UK, India and the USA we now employ over 100 staff.
