Flexible Contract Rules
Fare Studio allows a library of different airline contract rules to be configured and then associated with contracts as required. The rules allow multiple validations across all classes, for example, min/max stay, combinations, flight restrictions etc. This ensures only valid fares will be shown and minimizes ADMs for your business.
Managing Scheduled Contracts
There is a two stage process prior to releasing a scheduled contract to be ‘on-sale’ to ensure that data is accurate and has been checked prior to reservation usage. Firstly the contract data is entered and saved, secondly the data is checked before being released ‘on-sale’. As Fare Studio also has the ability to import and export information in an open “XML” format, different teams, possibly in different locations, are able enter and to QA the contract.
Contract Import
Many airlines provide contracts in Excel format and many companies also use Excel to store fares in a standard format for reference. Fare Studio provides an excel import template and process designed to save your company time when entering contract data in to the system.
Managing Allocations
Fare Studio allows charter or scheduled group seat allocations to be stored and decrements the allocation automatically as seats are sold. There is an “Easy load” facility to generate multiple departures, given a date range and days of departure. This means allocations with hundreds of departures can be loaded in a matter of minutes.
GDS Connectivity
Fare Studio is integrated with Amadeus, Galileo and Sabre to provide your business with the flexibility you need.
Blended Search across GDS, Net and Low Cost
Fare Studio has unique flexibility in combing fare and availability data from the three major GDS providers (Amadeus, Galileo & Sabre), concurrently with private fare data and low cost airlines. According to your search configuration, your sales process can be enabled to display the best fares to your clients in one screen.
Task Manager
Fare Studio features a task manager which enables tasks to be setup, monitored and triggered for specific events related to your flight management process. Examples include, ticketing deadlines, sending passenger names into Group PNRs, cancelling space, issuing and chasing requests for group space etc.
Reporting
Open Destinations is committed to an open reporting architecture to ensure that your company is able to easily design and install customized reports without the need for software development. Fare Studio is therefore fully integrated with the industry leading reporting solution: Crystal Reports from SAP.
Group PNRs and Bookings
Fare Studio features a customizable e-mail template which allows requirements for group space to be loaded into the system and requests to then be sent directly to a range of airlines. In addition, for Amadeus users, Group PNRs created in the GDS by the airlines in response to your requests can then be imported into a Fare Studio charter contract without the need for data entry.
Outsourcing
Open Destinations offers an experienced outsourcing service to relieve you of the burden of managing your net fare contracts, queue processing and other flight related tasks. We have established strong processes and service level agreements to ensure a reliable, timely and accurate service is provided. Our clients have experienced typical savings of 50% via this service.
