Open Destinations Receives Strategic Investment from Insight Partners to Fuel Next Chapter of Growth

London – June 23, 2025 – Open Destinations, a leading UK-based provider of reservation technology and services to travel companies worldwide, today announced a strategic growth investment from global software investor Insight Partners.

Founded in 1998, Open Destinations provides reservation technology and services to tour operators and rail companies around the world. The company’s flagship products, Travel Studio and Rail Studio, provide a full ERP solution—allowing customers such as Emirates, Orient Express, Belmond, Intrepid, Top Deck, Queensland Rail and Abercrombie & Kent to manage their products, inventory, pricing and reservations. In addition, Open Destinations provides back-office services that include product management, operations and customer service to companies such as Jet2.com, Holiday Extras and Travel Counsellors. The company has over 75 customers around the world in 30 countries and employs over 650 staff.
