Job Title: Sr. Quality Assurance Manager
Location: Goa, India
Reporting to: Vice President – Projects & Customer Services


ODL is looking for a hands-on Director to join the management team to provide vision and to drive improvements in our software products and deliveries.

Key Activities

  • Provide vision and leadership in establishing and growing ODL’s Quality Assurance team
  • Own, define and enforce the software testing processes using a mixture of manual and automated testing, for functional and non-functional testing
  • Implement best practice for QA across the company
  • Work with ODL front office in the UK and ODL international customers to manage and address
    QA issues

Knowledge and Experience

  • Excellent understanding of the complete software development lifecycle, with experience of delivering regular product releases and demonstrating a strong focus on quality and managing offshore teams to deliver high quality products
  • Excellent leadership skills – ability to build and motivate the QA team, communicating vision and best practice for QA across the company
  • Ability to build strong relationships with ODL management team in Goa and London
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with ODL senior management and customers to address key Quality issues
  • Strong experience in leading automated testing in a Continuous Integration environment, building and delivering successful software products designed to run on the Windows operating system
  • Real world experience of automated test tools for browser-based products, preferably Selenium, SOAP UI, LOAD UI
  • Real world experience of Continuous Integration tools and a strong understanding of configuration management
  • Experience in Performance Testing
  • Flexibility and energy, who will thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment and who has proven ability to drive software product delivery to time, cost and quality
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a QA Management role
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results through working on own initiative with proven ability to effectively handle multiple priorities
  • Experience of producing and delivering presentations at a senior level
  • Experience in a customer facing role
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written & verbal English language skills.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite
  • Willing to travel and work in different locations based on customer requirements
