The Borough of Islington (red) – home to Open Destinations UK office – is in central London north of the River Thames.

On Thursday July 4th members of our London office will take part in a run to raise money for a trio of fantastic local charities in Islington. Between them, our chosen charitable foundations – Healthy Minds, Healthy Bods, The Maya Centre and The Manna – provide services such as counselling, key work support and fitness classes for good mental health and well-being in the local community. You can find out a little more about each charity below.

Although the run route totals 10km, participants can choose the distance they will cover to set a suitable challenge and encourage as many people as possible to take part. On top of the total amount raised through sponsorship, Open Destinations (as a company) have pledged to donate an additional £5 for every kilometre run.

If you are feeling charitable and appreciate the good cause we are raising money for, please donate and help us to reach and hopefully surpass our £1500 target! Click the button below to donate.

This event comes almost exactly halfway through Open Destinations’ celebratory 20th anniversary year. It is one of several events and activities taking place in 2019 to mark the milestone birthday.
