NEWS – OPEN DESTINATIONS RAISE £2743 FOR ISLINGTON CHARITIES

As highlighted in our previous article, Open Destinations’ London team set out on a charity run/walk last Thursday July 4th. Our goal for the run was to collect sponsorship to be split between a trio of local charities in the Borough of Islington, London.

We’re delighted to announce that we smashed our £1500 target, raising a grand total of £2743! The total will be split evenly between The Maya Centre, The Manna and Healthy Minds, Healthy Bods. For the less mathematically-minded amongst you, that is £914.33 raised for each of the three. You can find out more information about each charity here.

We would like to thank all our sponsors, our runners and walkers who sweated it out in 27 degree heat, everyone that promoted our event and the causes, and finally the three amazing charities we were doing it all for.

This special event was part of Open Destinations’ ongoing 20th Anniversary celebrations. We are next on show at ITB Asia in Singapore in October and WTM 2019 in London the following month. More information on our participation in both events will be available in the coming weeks.
